Let me just start by saying I love Gun Oil – I have no clue why I haven’t talked it up on the blog before, but it’s my favorite water-based lube.

There are two great things about Gun Oil that I’ll start with.  First, and most importantly, it feels great.  It’s really slick and super long lasting.  A lot of water-based lubes need to reapplied over and over again.  While you probably shouldn’t throw the bottle out the window after your first application, it’s really nice to not have to reach for it every five minutes of a long, hard fuck.

Secondly, it cleans up easily.  I know I’m not the only dude out there who spends way too much on sheets and it’s heartbreaking to pull out my freshly washed sheets to find a big lube stain on them.  I haven’t had any issues with Gun Oil so far and I’ve been using this stuff for a while.

Next up, and it seems like men never talk about toy safety or the importance of using good materials, but I love this one because I can use it with my favorite silicone toys.  I have an amazing cock sling from Tantus that’s made from silicone, so I have to use water-based lube with it.  If you use silicone lube with a silicone toy, it’ll ruin it and that’s no good.

I really recommend Gun Oil to anyone who hasn’t tried it in the past.  It’s really good, pretty affordable and safe to use with condoms.
